The Township Board is pleased to announce they have identified four finalists for the Township Superintendent position. The search process began in December 2022 after Walsh Municipal Services was hired to lead the recruitment process. The board was pleased with the interest and response to the posting - eighteen applications were submitted. On January 11, the Township Board narrowed the field to four finalists, all of which are currently municipal managers in Michigan.
The finalists are:
- Adam Kline, Township Manager at Oakland Township
- Oakland Township Manager since June 2019
- Former Lansing Township Chief of Police
- Bachelors Degree in Community Development/Public Administration from Central Michigan University
- FBI National Academy - Graduate Certificate
- Haley Snyder, City Manager at the City of Albion
- Albion City Manager since March 2021
- Formerly Albion Assistant City Manager/Human Resources Coordinator & Deputy Clerk/Treasurer (June 2018-March 2021)
- Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University
- Bachelor of Science, IDS in Health and Society - Cognate Study in Sociology from Michigan Statue University
- Erik Wilson, City Manager at the City of Plainwell
- Plainwell City Manager since March 2002
- Formerly Village Manager at the Village of Decatur, MI
- Master of Public Administration from Eastern Michigan University
- Bachelor of Science - Political Science/Social Studies from Eastern Michigan University
- Justin Lakamper, Village Manager at the Village of Edmore
- Village Manager and DDA Director since 2019
- Formerly program manager for Konrad Adenauer Stiftung
- Master of Public Administration from Wayne State University
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in German & History from Kalamazoo College
Interviews will be held on Monday, January 30 at the Township Hall. The interview schedule is as follows:
