Texas Drive Park and the Phase I Trailway are scheduled to receive various improvements next week, which will impact the availability of these amenities. The Township has contracted with Michigan Paving to repave or crack fill, seal, and restripe portions of these areas. Here's an overview of what's scheduled (weather dependent):
PHASE I TRAILWAY
- The Phase I Trailway (the asphalt trailway section from Texas Corners Brewing Company to the Texas Drive Park entry near the ballfield) will be CLOSED from September 11-14. This section of trailway will be repaved.
- Homes along this section of trailway have been notified as their driveway access will be impacted. Please contact the Township Office with questions.
Texas Drive Park will remain open during the project, but parking will be impacted. Please follow the direction of Michigan Paving crews.
TEXAS DRIVE PARK - PARKING LOT
- The middle entry drive will be closed from September 11-14 as it will be entirely repaved.
- The NE and SW entrances will receive various paving/repairs from September 11-14. At least one entry will remain open throughout the project. Michigan Paving will have crews onsite to direct traffic and will cone off areas that are closed.
- The NE side of the parking lot will be sealed and restriped on September 14.
- The SW side of the parking lot will *tentatively* be sealed and restriped on September 15.
