We are seeking an ideal candidate to serve as Township Superintendent.
The Superintendent oversees township operations and reports directly to a seven-member Township Board. The Township Board consists of a Supervisor, Clerk, Treasurer and four Trustees. Currently, Texas Township employs 19 full-time employees and 17 part-time employees across seven departments. The Township Superintendent’s team also includes a full-time Deputy Superintendent. There are no unions within the Texas Township work culture.
Proudly, just last month, the Texas Township Board broke ground on their new 10,500 sq. ft. Township Hall. Plans call for the new building to be available in the Fall of 2023. In addition, the community highly anticipates the grand opening of the Maple Hill Splash Pad in the summer of 2023. The 2023 General Fund budget is $3.4M. Local officials are pleased with the current housing starts planned for Texas Township. Texas Township is a growing community.
The ideal candidate will be customer service focused and bring an impeccable record of serving the public. In addition to outstanding customer relations, the new Superintendent will bring a proven record of managing public projects. Texas Township is anything but a sleepy community with little activity.
While higher education is important, the Township Board is most interested in candidates who have demonstrated outstanding public relations skills and managing community projects.
