[ARCHIVED] Crooked-Eagle Lakes - County Commissioners Meeting

News Flash Headers (1)

Good Afternoon -

It has come to our attention that not all residents have received notice of the Crooked-Eagle Lakes agenda item, which is scheduled for consideration at tonight’s Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioner’s meeting. The Township has requested this item be postponed until the next meeting to give residents adequate time to make arrangements to attend the meeting or submit public comments. The Drain Commissioner is supportive of postponing this item and doing so will not cause any significant impacts to the project.

The next Kalamazoo County Board of Commissioner’s meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, June 20 at 7:00 PM. During this meeting, the County Board of Commissioners will consider approval of the computation of project costs and special assessment roll for the lake level project and consider a resolution relating to issuance of bonds by the Crooked and Eagle Lakes – Lake Level Special Assessment District. There will be an opportunity for public comment during the general public comment periods at the meeting (this is typically Item 8 on the agenda). Meetings are held at the County Administration Building (201 West Kalamazoo Avenue) in the Board of Commissioners Room, second floor. You can subscribe to receive copies of their meeting agendas via this link.

We apologize for any confusion this may have caused, however, we want to ensure our residents have ample opportunity to provide comments to the County Board of Commissioners. We encourage you to attend the meeting on Tuesday, June 20th at 7:00 PM if you are able.
